As much as possible, your desk must only contain things that you really need to get your work done.
2. Create a plan to maximize the use of your time. You may have heard the saying that time is gold and you will realize the truth to this phrase when you are older and you are faced with many tasks at hand. You have to accomplish as much tasks within the time that you allot for such. You also have to balance the rest of your time for your family, social life and other things aside from work.
3. Create a schedule that helps you perform similar tasks at once. For example, If you have filing to do in your office or home, (yes you should be filing things away) and you need to make some phone calls, why not call people while you are filing? It will make the filing a little more fun. Not to mention it is a wise use of your time.
